a place to come together
designed for meaningful gatherings
Orofino sits on 15 private acres within the Helena National Forest, offering three distinct dwellings—The Lodge, The Cabin, and The Camp—that together host up to 18 guests. It’s an ideal setting for intimate retreats, team offsites, or intentional gatherings that call for both connection and solitude.
At the heart is The Lodge, with four bedrooms, a chef’s kitchen, indoor dining table for 12, outdoor dining table for 40, and generous common spaces for group work or shared meals. The Cabin offers a quiet, intimate escape, perfect for facilitators or guests seeking solitude. The Camp, with its minimalist A-frames and outdoor living, invites a deeper immersion in nature.
The land itself becomes part of the experience: soak in the cedar hot tub under the stars, walk the forest bathing trail in silence, gather around the fire pit, or share coffee beside the koi pond at sunrise.
Each space includes high-speed Starlink internet, comfortable beds, modern amenities, and thoughtful design that supports both focus and rest. Whether you’re hosting a wellness retreat, a leadership offsite, or a creative brainstorm, Orofino gives you room to breathe, and something to return to.

THE LODGE
Hand-built from native Montana logs, The Lodge is the heart of Orofino, a warm, expansive space designed for gathering, reflection, and rest. Perched on the edge of the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest, it blends traditional craftsmanship with modern comfort.
Inside, you’ll find four spacious bedrooms (each with an attached bath), a chef’s kitchen made for shared meals and late-night conversations, and two handcrafted dining tables by a local artisan, seating 12 indoors and up to 40 outside under the big sky.
Step out the door into a Zen garden with a koi pond, a waterfall, and a Japanese maple offering quiet shade. Just beyond: a cedar hot tub, a cold plunge, forest trails, and the smell of pine on the wind.
The Lodge is more than a place to stay, it’s a home for meaningful moments. Whether you’re hosting a retreat, reconnecting with family, or simply seeking stillness, this is where Montana holds you.
AMENITIES
The Lodge sleeps up to eight guests across four bedrooms, thoughtfully designed for both connection and privacy.
On the main floor, the primary suite feels like its own private cabin—complete with a front sitting porch overlooking the koi pond and direct backdoor access to the cedar hot tub and cold plunge. Across the hall is a second en suite bedroom, perfect for guests who prefer to stay on one level.
Upstairs, you’ll find a cozy queen suite and a custom-built bunk room featuring two queen beds below and two twins above—designed in classic ski-lodge style. These two rooms share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with private entrances from each side.
Guests also have access to the Zen garden, Big Green Egg grill, outdoor fire pit, yard games, mountain bikes, snowshoes, gym (including a Peloton and a Tonal), and our forest bathing trail through the surrounding woods.

THE CABIN
Originally an 1800s miner’s cabin, this one-bedroom hideaway has been reimagined as a sanctuary for couples. Tucked beneath a canopy of pine, The Cabin is designed for deep rest, reconnection, and romance.
Everything here invites intimacy, from the cozy wood-burning fireplace and radiant heated floors to the booth-style breakfast nook inspired by Helena favorite: The Parrot. The bed faces a picture window into the forest, with a skylight overhead for stargazing as you fall asleep. Automated shades let you choose total privacy or morning light spilling in.
Outside, a private deck holds side-by-side soaking tubs, matte-black, trough-style, and perfectly placed under the sky, along with an outdoor shower and fire pit. It’s a place to unwind, explore each other, and feel the natural world moving around you.
Whether you’re curled up with a book, making dinner barefoot in the kitchen, or slipping into the tubs with the night air on your skin, The Cabin offers more than a stay. It offers presence, pleasure, and the rare kind of quiet that draws you closer to the land, and to each other.
AMENITIES
The Cabin includes a private outdoor deck with two matte-black soaking tubs, an outdoor shower, and a fire pit perfect for slow evenings under the stars. Guests also have access to mountain bikes, snowshoes, gym (including a Peloton and a Tonal), and our forest bathing trail that loops through the surrounding woods.

A-frame CAmp
The Camp is Orofino’s most elemental experience. Two minimalist A-frames tucked deep in the Helena National Forest, designed for those who want to live simply, sleep in the trees, and feel time slow down.
One cabin has a queen bed, the other two singles, each with heated floors, soft linens, and warm lighting. The bathroom is a beautifully crafted outhouse, paired with an outdoor sink and open-air shower. You’re living mostly outside here: cooking by the fire, stargazing from Adirondack chairs, and waking to birdsong through the trees.
There’s Wi-Fi if you need it—but the real signal is in the silence. Perfect for couples, close friends, or solo seekers who want to unplug without going totally dark.
It’s a return. To simplicity, to nature, to presence.
AMENITIES
Two minimalist A-frame cabins, one with a queen bed, the other with two singles, offer cozy sleeping spaces with heated floors, soft lighting, and air conditioning for hot summer days. An elegant outhouse, outdoor sink, and open-air shower complete the experience, inviting you to live comfortably close to the land.
