Mining Experience
Channel Helena, Montana’s early mining history with an on-site mining experience. This add-on adventure is fun for families, friends, or couples and includes a bag of certified sapphire gravel from the Spokane Bar Sapphire Mine on the Missouri River just outside of town. We recommend one bag per group of 4 people.
Mining Kit Includes:
Bag of certified sapphire and precious gem gravel
Mining instruction card
Glass keepsake jar
Outside of the Orofino Gym & Gear room, you’ll find the mining area equipped with a large table and water trough. Additionally, we will provide screens, tweezers, and mats to aid in your mining experience.
Pre-order is required at least one day before your check-in date. The mining kit will be included in your welcome package upon arrival. Mining gear will be available outside of the Orofino Gym & Gear room during your stay.
